oh you're right. that one confuses me. i'm sorry, i suppose the same rules apply for consejo as well..

would numbers correspond with plurals? so would it be cuatro casas or cuatros casas?

Consejo quite literally means 'advice' or 'counsel' which means basically the same. So I can see why typing 'council' into google translate would yield this, but the noun is 'ayuntamiento'
