Hi,
This is the question for my English coursework and have no idea on how to answer it.
Does anyone have any ideas?

You could talk about the constant fear that Curley's wife seems to face, ie. 'I'm looking for Curley'

You could talk about Crooks and how he is apprehensive to let Lennie into his room because he thinks he's going to be racially abused

You could talk about the fear that Curley wants to create through threats, ie. threatening Lennie

You could talk about George's fear for Lennie's safety, which ultimately leads him to shoot Lennie

Hope these help and good luck

It is represented through dramatic irony where George and Lenny are introduced to all the other workers and learn about their rough past. About crook and how he experiences racism, and about the old man who loses his dog. This all leads to fear conveyed to the audience because it builds up to the scene when Lenny kills curley's wife unintentinally. The audience can relate to th characters in the play because as much as lenny is scared, the audience can empathize with him and are unaware of how Lenny will be punished.
