OR= Odds ratio, 95% CI = 95% Confidence intervals.

Put simply, according to the results of this review, women with PCOS are 3.43 times more likely to experience gestational diabetes than women in the control group...if we performed the sampling multiple times, we would expect this value to fall somewhere within the range of 2.49-4.74.
