Transferring to Uni of Sheffield - Psychology

Hi all,
I'm currently in my first year of a BSc in Psychology studying at Aston University.
I'm thinking of transferring to Sheffield for my second and third years as I'm not particularly enjoying myself at Aston, and don't feel I really fit in with the business orientated ethos of the university. I've lived in Birmingham all my life and really would like a change of scenery. I only chose Aston as my firm choice and put Sheffield as my insurance because of the placement year offered at Aston, so Sheffield would be an ideal place to transfer to.
Has anyone actually transferred to Sheffield from another university? What's the student life like, and how did you find the change and making friends etc?

I recently transferred from Nottingham to Sheffield and it wasn't too challenging to transfer across as along you apply for entrance to both the first year again and second year you should get an offer

was this for psych? and second year?
