babyface - advice appreciated!

Im an 18 yr old girl but a lot of people think i'm only about 15 as I have quite a baby face. It really annoys me coz I feel like I'm not good enough compared to my friends. I feel like I'm never gonna get a boyfriend again as I look so young. I dont think I'll ever get approached by anyone coz theyll think I'm really young or something.

I am only 5 ft 3 and slim as well so its even more annoying. How can I look older :frown:

I just want to look my age and not have people making remarks about how "i'm not really 18" etc. Does anyone have any good advice on how to look...well, my age at least!

Indeed. Who wants to look older? You'll get older in time, you'll never get younger - even if you don't like it now, looking 30 when you're 40 won't be the disadvantage that looking younger can be now.

I wouldn't worry. You'll probably catch up eventually, and you'll appreciate it when you're older anyway! If you're 18 you'll have ID to get into clubs etc, so it shouldn't be a problem. And blokes... pfft, if they're only going on appearance then they're not worth worrying about either!

Yea but if lads are not approaching her because she looks too young it might be a problem 'to her'.

I didn't say that wasn't true. Simply that in 10 years' time she may have the opposite problem if she goes off making herself look older through things like smoking and so on now. On the other hand, going to bars and pubs to meet people might be the way forward, since people will know she has to be at least 18 to get in...

I'm the same. Look very young even though I'm 18. Still, it's a good way to get rid of creepy blokes/insurance salesmen. I just lie and tell them I'm 15 and then they run away looking creeped out.

Getting ID'd for 15 movies and handing over a driving license also never ceases to amuse...

I'm the same. I am 19 and people still ask me when I'm going to do my GCSEs because I look so young! When I say I'm already at uni they get all shocked. It really is annoying.

oh..I have the same problem: look too young im 19 btw...was going to sign a mobile phone contract, the saleman looked at me and said it was not for 15 years old kids...a bit annoying...but i do enjoy being like this young and sweet lolz:P

Same problem and I'm 5ft which is even worse! (I'm 19.) It certainly doesn't stop you getting a boyfriend though, in fact seeing as you probably look cute it could increase your chances! I have a boyfriend who is a few years older but similarly looks younger than he is - he actually boasts about it when he gets asked for ID!

I told someone the other day I was in sixth form and they looked like they just seen a ghost.

But damn I loved it. I don't mind looking so young. You should come to my town TC as a lot of blokes still hit on 15 year olds! :s-smilie:

My 24 year old sister got ID'd for fags the other week at a petrol station.
