Hi!

I´m in the process of applying to Unis for Autumn 2014 (bachelor/undergraduate). I´ve been looking at the many different courses available and have narrowed down my options to a few presented below. I´m interested in either studying something computer oriented (eg. computer science, software) or business oriented (eg. finance). Worth mentioning is that I graduated from the IB this summer with 32 points.

Here is a list of the Unis that I´ve found interesting so far:

Netherlands -
Uni of Amsterdam:
- Economics and Business Administration

Erasmus Uni:
- International Bachelor Econometrics and Operations Research
- Bachelor in Econometrics/Economics
- Bachelor in International Business Administration

Tilburg Uni:
- BSc Economics
- International Business Administration
- Bachelor of Science Econometrics and Operations Research

Nyenrode Business University:
- Bachelor in Business Administration

VU University Amsterdam:
- Computer Science
- International Business Administration

Belgium -
KU Leuven:
- Bachelor of Business Administration

Germany -
Frankfurt School of Finance and Management:
- International Business Administration
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

Italy -
Bocconi:
- International Economics and Management
- International Economics and Finance

I´d highly appreciate any input which could help me make my choice.
Do you know of any other Unis that offer courses in computer/business-oriented subjects which you could recommend?
What are my chances of being accepted to the respective Unis listed above with 32 IB points?
Since I can only apply to three courses in the Netherlands, which has the best reputation and which one would you recommend?
Any other input is highly appreciated!

Thank you for your help!

Are you sure that you could get into some of those with an IB of 32? Amsterdam University and even more so Bocconi are pretty selective.

From what I understood Dutch universities tend not to look too much on the grades, instead they focus on your personal statement and interview. I could be mistaken though, perhaps someone could confirm whether that is true?
I´m aiming to get into the best uni I can with my grades so I´m going to aim high and I expect to get a few rejections.
I´ll send a mail to Bocconi though asking them if I have a realistic chance of being admitted with 32 points.

I don't think Frankfurt school is that recommanded, but again depends on your aims. You want to study in English, right? (Just asking, because you don't mention the public universities, even if some of them are impossible to get in with your grades.)

How hard is to get in KU Leuven?

I am from Brazil and i got an email from Ku Leuven saying "
if you high school diploma gives access to higher education (academic studies) in Brazil and you fourfill all the other requirements, you will be accepted.", So I really don´t know how selective they are, will anyone applying to KU Leuven be accepted?
