My heart is hurting

It keeps twitching and is bugging me, is this serious? Im scared if I go to bed I might have heart attack in my sleep or something :confused:

Its been like this for weeks and does it about twice every 2 days or so.

Book an appointment with a doctor. Sometimes rregular beating like that is perfectly harmless, but sometimes it's something that should be seen to.

I have twinges sometimes, maybe because i smoke? Maybe because im a lay cow! lol

it's about 80% likely to be an intercostal muscle than your heart. it feels exactly like you would imagine your heart to, and probably in that place too, but your heart can't twitch. irregular heartbeats yes, you would know that straightaway. intercostal muscles are the ones between your ribs.

80% is a totally made up figure by the way.
