Question number 1: If you're bulking up you need to get some sort of chart that shows how many carbs/calories/sugar/salt intake you have each day. If you compare that to calories, for example, 2500 calories you should have each day, ideally, you should eat more than 2500 if you wish to make a significant difference.

Also, drink lots of milk and anything with lots of protein in. Milk has lots of protein and therefore should be drank after you've worked out as the protein slips in place of the split muscle and make you bigger.

Question 2: Diet cola is really 1 calorie.. All fizzy drinks arent good for you.

True enough but i feel like i wont have time to make a chart and go accoringly cuz there are so many other things to do. How do u know how many calories are there in what ur eating? I know u can look at the labels etc but couting them daily.. wouldnt it take ur time?
I don't think you need to know exactly the calories of everything that you are eating but start checking labels just for a while to give you an idea.

Remember to bulk up you must be eating more than you are burning off. Work out your calorie needs to maintain and then add on about 500 a day.

When asked to choose between the sugar in coke and the crap in diet coke, id choose normal coke anyday.

I agree with above - aspartame does nasty things. In general, stay off fizzy drinks if you want to be healthy, but sweetners have links to all sorts of problems so I just wouldn't! Appletiser is always good - all juice, no added sugar, yet fizzy! And tastes gooood.
Q 1&3 I think that if you are trying to bulk up then each a lot of food rich in protein, for example, chicken, meat, eggs and a lot of carbohydrates, for example, rice, pasta, bread etc. (But you must ensure that all of that energy is worked off so the excess carbs don't turn to fat!)

It's not the calories in cola that should worry you. There are other things in it that are bad for you ie caffine.

Thanks for ur replies everyone. Now when u say eat high protien food, how much should i eat? Im lifting heavy weights and doing all sorta things in suppose to do to bulk up. If u say drink loads of milk? Say 2 glasses are enough? what about other products? How do i know that i burnt the extra amount i ate that is carbs which might turn to fat as someone said.
Is it this way - I eat as much as i want but healthy and heavier i get? provided i do proper weight lifting?

na course it doesnt. if you're really serious about it then thats a guaranteed way. excel can calculate the total for ya so you dont have to do anything.. just put in what you eat, and how many calories which are on the back of each packet, and then see what you could do about eating more.
