2014 Fantasy F1 league thread

I have set up a league for us at Badger again...
http://badgergp.com/fantasygp

Go there and make a team. Then once you've made your team you select to join a "friends league" and pick the TSR one detailed below.

league details

There's also an Android app for it this year for just 69p which if you buy will make it a lot easier to make predictions etc on the fly.

All done. Been as boring and predictable as ever with my selections.

First year doing this so will be interesting to see where I come ...

Gambled on not going for Vettel - not sure if it will pay off.

All over it!

It looks a lot better this year, the points for predictions seem to have been reduced so the max you can get from nailing everything is 120 points where before it was like 300!

Think the hardest part of the predictions for the first race is how many safety cars will there be.

haha, I went for 3 for now though given the reliability of some cars I wouldn't be surprised if we get more and not many finishers!

Brundle said on Sky that he wouldn't be surprised if less than 10 cars finish

Could see Caterham or Marussia getting their first points maybe.

Probably Marussia due to not having the Renault engine.

might be worth putting Chilton or Bianchi in the team for first few races in case aye, if they do get points it would be a big score for any fantasy team with em in!

Although I think there will be a lot of none finishers I've gone pretty conservative at 2 because not every non finish will need a safety car. probably a lot of yellow flags though.

I will be very suprised if it is less than 10 cars. Think the teams will maybe be conservative if they thought that was the case and others would drop out to make sure they got atleast some points.

Bought the app.

69p well spent i reckon. Lot easier to boot up the app when doing stuff instead of having to load up the PC.

Any questions about it give me a shot.

That's true I guess, might revise mine depending on how final test and practice go!

Could be, it will come down to engine reliability I expect

I've been boring and sensible and heavily favoured my team towards the 2 good mercedes powered teams.

At the current view you'd be foolish to do anything else.

Also, May go have a chat with TSR HQ and see if i can organise some prizes this year...

WEll, the 2 good ones(Merc/Mclaren) have taken most of my cash.

Then scraped the barrel with my remaining change leftover.

And predicted Hamilton destroying everyone in Aus.
