Have No Idea What I Want To Do For My Future

I'm 17, Half Way Through A Levels; I Have A Part Time Job At A Retail Store and Doing 4 AS Subjects However I Don't Know What I Want To Do For My Future. I Don't Have A Career Aim; Is There Any Website Or Resource That Has Ideas Of Jobs And Qualifications That You Will Need For That Job? I Need Inspiration!

This is very common so don't panic! Most people havn't got the faintest idea what they want to do at 17.

Start with 'what do I enjoy?' - either in terms of school subjects and/or stuff you do outside school. Look at low level jobs in these areas and how do you get into them. Its pointless thinking of 'going to Uni' if you are clueless - wait until you have more idea about a subject/career - it will always still be there.

AND, you could simply give yourself a short-term ambition to be going on with - work like crazy over the summer, earn lots of ££ and go travelling. This at least gives you some time to think.
