hey its going to be my first yr anniversary soon, and i'm so tied down with school work i hardly have time on what to do and what to get her. any ideas will be appreciated :biggrin:

i think its important that you take some time out from working, and take her out somewhere nice, perhaps for a meal and then to the cinema or something like that

(I'm a bit confused as to why you are so tied down by school work, as i thought it was summer holidays now, but thats besides the point...)

has she ever said she wanted to go somewhere. for example. me n my friend(who is male) always talked about being in the Jeremy Kyle Show audience. low and behold, 4 days ago, as a surprise and present for my 18th birthday, he took me!

Dinner, cinema etc. sounds nice alright. But if you want it to be a smash hit - try and find something unique about her. Does she like sailing? Arrange that. Has she been talking about how fun it would be to try bungy jumping? There you go. Is she into latin music and food? Take her to dancing class with you, then appropriate resto or something.
