I float like a ghost

Sorry about the title, its serious though. Earlier on today, I felt like I was a ghost, floating while walking, felt as though I couldnt touch, no sensations, like my feet were off the ground, I was just walking, and I felt this floating sensation, like I couldnt sense my feet were touching the ground or my arms were swinging. It's abit hard to explain, you get what I mean. And no I havent taken and drugs or anything. Whats up with me? This is not the first time I got it, its happened many times before, it wears off after a few minutes.

Maybe you weren't properly awake/fully conscious or maybe it's an indication on your weight?

robgazza - I have had sleep in the past week.
Elements - I was awake, I had had breakfast, watched some telly and got up several times during that and then it suddenly happened, thought I was dead and floating :p: Weight?

Oh OK- I was just offering from a few past experiences. Weight wise are you a rather light girl- do you have a light weight? Or are you receiving all your minerals etc from your diet as this might be illustrating a deficiency in something? Sorry if these are crap ideas- I am trying as I would like to be of some help.

No. Its that same feeling where you are on a rollercoaster and you're right at the top and that moment where you are just about to ride fast down the track, your legs float/you feel like you're going to fall jump out of the seat, its that high floaty feeling, similar to the peek of an orgasm I guess.

Blueangel I get it sometimes too.

If i sit up too quick?

Or, running on a treadmill, and not "warming down" and instantly coming off from the fastest speed to stopping then walking.

Hmm?

You sound light-headed, if your that worried go and see your doctor

a) they are qualified to make a diagnosis
b) if there is something up, they can halp sort it

Does it just happen when you stand up? If it does, you might be standing up to quickly, which can make your blood pressure change suddenly and make you feel lightheaded, cos your brain doesn't get enough oxygen.

Are you stressed, worried, anxious etc?

It may just be that you're spacing out because of the stress. It's just a warning to tell you to try to take things easy. I don't think it's dangerous in itself, except you might walk under a bus or something while you're out of it.
