I'm writing out my draft for my spanish speaking assessment but have not fully grasped the concept of the conditional tense.

I have to include :
Where I went last year (preterite tense)
What my accommodation was like (hotel room, facilities, food) imperfect tense
any problems i had - preterite and imperfect tense
why i chose that particular hotel - preterite tense
what your ideal hotel would be (the conditional tense)

muchas gracias

the conditional tense is when you are saying what you WOULD do in the future..

i would speak with my parents - Hablaría con mis padres...

to conjugate, you simply add the ending.. (only regular verbs).

the endings for regular verbs are as follows (Valid for all er, ar and ir regulars):

ía
ías
ía
íamos
íais
ían

hablaria, comeria, viviria (note: i have forgotten the accents on the i)...
