Hello everyone,

I need to find out what order I should learn the Graphs section in GCSE Algebra. I can't find a source that explains from scratch.

I have covered and I am quite comfortable with the following:

1. Straight Line Graphs (Convert into y=mx+c)
1a. Parallel & Perpendicular Graphs
1b. Gradient of a line

In what order must I learn next to cover the entire topic? I know how to plot Quadratic and Cubic graphs using a table, What must I learn next?

Finding roots of Quadratics/Cubics maybe? For something more "graphy" try some transformations, solving simultaneous/simultaneous quadratic equations with graphs and graphs of trigonometric functions

Is that the correct order? After doing straight line equations I looked at Graph Transformations but didn't understand it very well. I learn best when things flow you know, like 'Learning A & B to understand C.

1. Roots of Quadratics and Cubics
2. Graph Transformations
3. (Quadratic) Solving Simultaneous Equations with Graphs
4. Graphs of Trigonometric Functions

Thank you for the help dude!

that order is fine, you could do 1,3,2,4 but either way is fine
