Taking defer entry after receiving an offer from unis?

hello guys,

i am considering to resit my year at college again and defer my entry as i now have a very strong feeling that i am going to fail my exams, i got 10 AS/A2 exams waiting in may/june... plus my time management is (CRAP) which i've always had trouble with.

any help would be appreciated
p.s - i applied to queen mary to study a chemistry degree
