is their an easy why to identify the rule to use when you are in a c2 exam, as i find know the 4 rules of cosine and sine rule a bit confusing

if you are not sure just try the sine rule... if it does not work switch to the cosine rule

If so
The Sine Rule is fairly easy to remember
The Cosine Rule is given on the formula sheet
The rearrangement of the Cosine Rule is a GCSE level skill
It really depends on what information you have - if you put the information into a rule and you have everything apart from the value you are meant to be finding then you are using the correct rule
