Pub job shoes, what to wear?

Hi.

I start my new job in a pub 2moro and because of the heat, i dont want to wear trousers. so im going to buy a knee length skirt however i think flat shoes will look terrible so i guess i need to get something with a slight heel on it. i dont want the heel to be too big because i need to be comfortable.

what can anyone else suggest for shoes with that kind of skirt to look good and be comfortable. im going shopping tonight.

get some black ballet pumps... sparkly if you can... i wear my black sparkly rocket dog shoes to work, they are comfy, practical and pretty!

i couldnt find any of those so i got some nice shoes with a slight heel on. i'll try them out 2moro but if they're no good i'll buy some pumps like u said.

since when did you have to dress up to go to work?
If the pub is anything like where I work...when it's busy you will get stuff dropped on your shoes. And if it's like the Union you will have shots of everything under the sun all over you.
Just wear trainers or because of the skirt flat shoes. They will look fine.

At the Union you are meant to wear boots or substantial shoes that will protect you because it can hurt dropping things on your shoes...or moving barrels around.

i dont think anyone said that you had to dress up for work but it is nice to feel confident about what you are wearing, esp if it your first day!!

rocketdog shoes are the most comfortable in my opinion lol
