changing the date you stop taking the pill...

ok so currently i stop taking my pill on a wednesday, but that means that im always on at the weekend which is proving to be really annoying at the moment. anyway, i was wondering what the effects would be if i started taking another packet untill say sunday, then stopped. and the following month only take the remaining pills of the packet, so i'll come on earlier.

has anyone ever done this?

It should be ok (certainly taking it for a few extra days to bring your period later will be) but after your slightly shorter cycle, you should use condoms until you've been back on the pill for 7 days, I think.
