Wrap it up with a wet towel or something, should help for a while.
run it under cold water thats what you always do with a burn

Put it in cold water for at least 10 minutes or more. It'll still be sore for a while but this should sort out the initial pain.

Put toothpaste (gel only) on it.

Or completely numb it by putting it in some ice.
Aloe vera is good for treating burns.

Don't put it directly on ice, could mess it up. Seriously. Use some ice cubes wrapped in a towel if you must use ice.

Aloe vera is good, as black mamba suggested, but that's more of a healing thing, rather than immediate treatment.

According to First Aid, you shouldn't put any lotions or creams on the burn.

Just run it under cold water for a minimum of 10 minutes, and never cover with a fluffy material (depending on the severity of the burn, the material can stick to the burn)

Ohh this goes without saying! My mother used to have to peel burnt skin off burns victims (*vom*) and more often than not it would be stuck to their clothing. Those were the highest degree of burns though, not sure what the thread starter has although it doesn't sound too severe, unless it is blistering up by now. [ick]

Yeah, I can't imagine that the OP has a severe burn, but you're supposed to be careful never to underestimate them. It could nasty otherwise (ouch)
