Shops near Warwick

Hey guys, just wondering what shops/supermarkets are actually at/near Warwick uni.

At the uni there is a costcutter isn't there? What else?

& isn't there a retail park kinda thing by the uni with a Tesco etc or am I making that up?!

Just wondering if most people do there food shopping on campus or do you need to go off?

& then I'm guessing the nearest high street clothes shops etc are Coventry?

Yeah i saw some guy with a tesco bag when i was looking around and my guide said that most people go to tesco for shopping. Also food (i.e eating out) is reasonably priced there from what i could see

when i visited the campus, i remember seeing a costcutters, a post office & i think there was a hairdressers too. thats about all i remember.
i think most students shop from Tescos though.

There's a Costcutters which they're expanding over the summer holidays, very useful to have it on campus. There's also a post office, an Oxfam shop, two or three banks, Endsleigh insurance, hairdressers and STA travel.

There's a retail park about 10mins walk from campus (Canon Park) with a big 24 hour Tesco (with a 24hour licence!), Wilkinson (very useful for cooking stuff/toys/fancy dress stuff!), a greengrocer, New Look, Boots, Iceland, a couple more charity shops, a sports shop, an opticians... various others too.

High Street shops - well, other than that New Look - Cov and Leam are both good (and a short bus ride away), and if you want some hardcore retail therapy Birmingham's not far at all!

Yay tesco - Always saves me... you can get ANYTHING from tesco extra!

People have probably already answered this but I'll answer too

There's a Costcutter on campus, with Lazerlizard (and a post office) next door and the Bookshop across the road tagged on the end of the Arts Centre. Then there're smaller shops including a brand spanking new Oxfam, a couple of banks, a pharmacist, a hair cutting place, an Endsleigh Insurance branch and probably something else on campus too. But apparently they're gonna revamp it over the summer by making Costcutters fookin massive which'll probably mean bye bye Lazerlizard soon...

Cannon Park is that retail park, which you get to by walking through Claycroft (near Computer Science and my beloved Maths building ), which has a 24 hour Tesco and other shows like a Boots, Wilkinsons, Iceland, a Johnson's cleaners, another Post Office and ... Uhh ... I forget what else.

I tended to go to Tesco just because I'm doing maths so I could just pop there after a lecture or something. More poeple might to to Costcutter if they're extending it, so it's up to you. Bear in mind that, if you get an Eating at Warwick card, that you can use it in Costcutter to get a 10% discount (but then Tesco is obviously cheaper anyway). Doesn't really make a difference where you go!

High street shops = Coventry or Leamington Spa. The latter is further away but many consider it "nicer"

Hope that helped
