I'm doing Russia as well, and I use the syllabus questions and topics to make detailed notes which I'll shorten later.
How is your revision going anyway?
Also, my teacher has advised us to stay away from completing past papers in timed conditions until we're absolutely sure we know our content- besides, what's the point in practicing and memorising answers when you don't understand what's going on?
