Study: Surveying the Components of Facial Structure of US Prison Inmates

Have you ever had a gut feeling about something or someone that just didn’t seem “right” to you? Ever have a bad feeling or hunch that turned out to be correct? This feeling, my friends, is known as ‘intuition’. Even if we don’t actively take notice, there is a growing body of evidence that suggests that the subconscious mind plays a large role in decision making. This led me to ask the following research questions:
Can you pick a convicted felon out of a crowd? How about a sex offender? Can you spot a serial killer? How sharp are your instincts? These are all questions that I want to address by conducting a two (2) part survey, both of which will take no longer than 5-10 minutes to complete.
My study examines the facial features of US Prison inmates convicted of various crimes. The first part involves a direct assessment of facial symmetry, facial proportionality, and overall attractiveness. The second survey will address facial features as patterns of criminal activity. This is the part where you can put your intuitive skills to work; so if you’re interested stick around for both (though I appreciate whatever help I can get).

Again, this is a 5-10 minute survey. No personal information is required other than your age, ethnicity and gender. Otherwise, it’s totally confidential.

Please follow the link below in order to take part one of the survey! Need 100 respondents, but I will welcome as many as are interested.
