Define normal?

im a girl, 19yrs, and ive never had a boyfriend before. Whenever im out and about e.g bus, walking around etc.. and a guy looks at me..perhaps smiles..i always feel that 'omg he is such a weirdo' or something like that, ive noticed that ive never felt that someone may actually be taking notice of me in a good way, not a pervy way lol.

To be totally honest you sound like the wierdo. Maybe you might have had more success with men if you didn't go around thinking that every man who looks at you is just perving over you. Most guys who smile at you are probably just trying to be friendly. Stop making these sort of judgements about people before you even know anything about them.

Thanks for the positive responses. I just find it amazing that some people think like the OP. Sounds like she has a very negative view on men in general.

Her mentality worries me. Imagine if I met her at a club and smiled out of being polite. Will probably get the evils.

Oh, I've had that one before. I was in a club once and this fine chick was looking over at me. I was receptive to her response (I thought she was checking me out) and she turned to her friend and said something which could have easily passed as being a derogatory remark. At the time, however, I was with a couple of others, so that could have played a part.

Nevertheless, I think some girls like to consult their female counterparts to claim 'victory' as part of their ego - I guess it's just a power thing, but a bit pathetic to say the least.
