telling the difference between weirdos and the 'normal' guys

im a girl, 19yrs, and ive never had a boyfriend before. Whenever im out and about e.g bus, walking around etc.. and a guy looks at me..perhaps smiles..i always feel that 'omg he is such a weirdo' or something like that, ive noticed that ive never felt that someone may actually be taking notice of me in a good way, not a pervy way lol.

So really my question is that when you catch a guy looking at you, how do you know whether the guy is not a weirdo, but just a normal genuine person attracted to you at some level?

You never know your answers may be the reason why i dont have a boyfriend!! :p:

Thanks in advance xx

I don't think that anyone is 'normal' maybe stop being so discriminant and give yourself a chance to get to know him.

You can tell if a guy is a weirdo if you talk to them. See what they are interested in, what they want to talk about. Just looking at people doesn't give a good idea of who is normal.

Define normal?
Easy guide:

Weirdo - Loves to cross dress, and thrust their groin around.
Normal - None of the above (except perhaps when under the influence)

This should help.

Define normal?

In most cases, 'normal' is synonymous with boring.
i collect my faeces in newspapers and fashion neat parcels from the awful mess.. that's normal love.
"normal" guys just hide it better.

Maybe you might have had more success with men if you didn't go around thinking that every man who looks at you is just perving over you. Most guys who smile at you are probably just trying to be friendly. Stop making these sort of judgements about people before you even know anything about them.

To be totally honest you sound like the wierdo. Maybe you might have had more success with men if you didn't go around thinking that every man who looks at you is just perving over you. You entertain me with your comments. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the positive responses. I just find it amazing that some people think like the OP. Sounds like she has a very negative view on men in general.

Her mentality worries me. Imagine if I met her at a club and smiled out of being polite. Will probably get the evils.

I apologise to the OP. Just realised I must have been perving over someone during my last post.

Oh, I've had that one before. I was in a club once and this fine chick was looking over at me. I was receptive to her response (I thought she was checking me out) and she turned to her friend and said something which could have easily passed as being a derogatory remark. At the time, however, I was with a couple of others, so that could have played a part.

Nevertheless, I think some girls like to consult their female counterparts to claim 'victory' as part of their ego - I guess it's just a power thing, but a bit pathetic to say the least.

****ing bitches.

It is difficult. But I know what you mean. It is always better to get their attention at the bar when they are next to you ordering a drink.

I also really hate it when you are chatting to one of their mates, then they come over and say to their mate "come dance with me..."

grrrr! (go away!)

Or when one of her female mates comes over and ****s it up? Or when she has 'guy friends'? Or even worse, a boyfriend?
