Missed pill

Ok I regularly take my pill @ around 7:30 when I wake up in the morning, however I stayed over my boyfriends not last night but the night before and totally forgot about taking the pill in the morning and we had unprotected sex. I then remembered and my boyfriend took me back home after lunch at around 2 o clock, so like 4 hours after the sex and around 6 hours late for taking my pill!

Basically am I at any risk as I want to reasure my boyfriend who is quite worried about me and the possible consequences! Would the best course of action be to take the MAP?

As long as you took your pill before 12 hours after the missed pill, you should be ok, but read in your packet, it should tell you about precautions and missing it, all pills are different.

Did you then take the pill when you got home??? because if you take the combined pill then you can take the pill up to 12 hours after you would normally take it and still be protected from pregnancy. If you didnt take it within the 12 hours though then the morning after pill would be the best option.
