isnt it primarni?!

yeh the shops alright, to be honest i much prefer it for socks/tights/accessories etc than for proper clothes.... and their shoes can be alright too

im not overly keen ther are some nice things like this skirt i saw which was £8 but then i thought £8 from primark is a bit steep for primark i would rather go to topshop or for cheapness h&m

i tend to get tops mainly, not trousers or jeans, its like £3 for a stripy vest!! wo cares if it falls apart (and none of mine have after many wahses) many of my fave tops r from there, plus it means u can buy more as htey r cheaper! i LOVE the accessories too, soooo cheap, yet look so good!

I like the menswear that primark have, while I'm not a fashionable bloke, I find some of their blazers are perfect for my style, nice cord dark colour jackets, even waistcoats! I like that they sell long sleeve t-shirts that aren't ridiculously priced and don't have some meaningless drivel written on it like 'go west!' or 'ohio state university!' I don't mind some of the drivel sometimes, if it looks pretty, but not if I don't go to ohio university or such.

In short, primark is awesome! I'm a poor student so it fits my pocket well.

What do guys and girls think about getting undies from primark? or do you prefer the Armani silk underwear or such?

If I'm buying cheap clothes I'd rather go to george at asda or matalan rather than primark

I've only been into George once, but never matalan, what are they like?

WHen I went into george, the clothes weren't cool enough for me

i read it like that in a magazine, and i guess its stuck!

tbh ive only bought like one pair of jeans from primark, trheyre not my faves, but theyre turn-ups and i dont have many of them so theyre quite regularly worn. the cheap tops are cool, it must b said, the other day my mate got a really cool boob tude for a quid! yeah sum of the skirts are £8, but that is really reasonable compared to most highstreet shops like topshop and river island.

underwear at primark is ok, got a really nice black bra from there for £4 and i absolutely :suith: it. the nickers/thongs are not quite as nice tho in my opinion...

fan of matalan, but i dont like it as much as primark, and only been to george the once.

but for peeps on a budget primark is ideal

Primark underwear is good for the start of a relationship when you want exciting new underwear every day! I tend to stick with tops as I know it will all fall apart / shrink eventually but it's ok for a bit

I like the fact you can get five pairs of tights for £1. I'm not that keen on their jeans and stuff but some of the tops are okay, I'm not going to complain when a shrug is £1.

I love Primark because if you go shopping and end up buying nothing then you can always pop in there before you go home and get a pair of knickers to make yourself feel better :p:
They're pretty good for basic vests and tops cos they're so cheap you can have them in every colour.
For other stuff though if I wanted something cheap I'd probably go for George or Tesco clothing ... we have an Asda Living in Walsall and it's great ^_^ ... although does anyone find their vests sometimes come up a bit big? Sometimes the 8 is still a bit big on my back ...

I love Primark, but I usually end up at Matalan since I work there . You can get some lovely stuff from both!

Although Primark is winning, as I seem to always be wearing the flowery shirt dress I bought from there.

I've just decided that I don't like Primark. There isn't one where I live nor where I go to uni so I don't really shop there, but there is one in Bristol where my boyfriend goes to uni and the one time I went in there it was an utter hole, making shopping impossible.

I bought a dress from eBay from Primark and it arrived today. I bought it in a 10 because that's my normal size in dresses and when I put it on it fit perfectly... except around my chest, where it was far to big and gaping. Now I don't want to sound conceited but I don't have a small chest, I'm a 34C which is quite substantial for someone that's only just 5ft tall. The proportions are totally out, it's ridiculous! If I'd got an 8 it would have been too tight on my waist, but probably still a bit big on the chest. Bloody ridiculous.

So no, Primark have pissed me off and I won't be shopping there in future!

get used to it folks, primark is student heaven! hah

I like it cause I fit into size 8 and 8-10s yay

My friend and I call it Le Boutique.....but we used to call it Primarni before everyone else did.

I love this shop, more than any other....it's perfect for when your 'omg i have nothing to wear to go out' yeah 3 quid for a top and voila...something new.

I've NEVER been to primark before, I feel so out of the loop. Thankfully a primark superstore is opening 5 mins away from me on 1st Aug, and I'm so going to be there for the grand opening!! Do most primarks do home stuff as well or is it just a few?

I have a love hate relationship with the place.Love it because its cheap - so I could buy socks/tights/tops to last me a year at uni and then bin them with no second thought. But the place is crowded, the fitting room lines freak me out and the sizes are strange.
Price somehow is what makes it special to me :colondollar:

Trousers are a strange fit and the shoes can have a few gems amongst them, while others fall apart.
But I love primark for its tops. I used to have no plainish t shirts and summer topcs because they were so expensive per top everywhere else when on a budget. But at primark, I can get 12 tops for the price of 4-5 in other high street stores.
And I did even manage to find a pair of trousers that fitted the other day, so I'm happy. Waiting for the next work payday to top up my wardrobe for the coming autumn, hehe!

primark is ok. but the clothes are cheap as ****. seriosuly, i was trying on a pair of trousers in their fitting rooms and the bloody button actully just came off in my hand. i was like wtf? the stuff is alright because it follows fashion at a basic level and it's not expensive. but people should be aware that the quality of their clothes are piss-poor. then again, i suppose if it does all **** up after a while, it wouldn't matter that much because it would have been really really inexpensive. i guess i prefer peacocks for value and acceptable qaulity. and above those two, h&m is the best place for stylish, cheap, valuable clothing.
