I don't know, I just put it down to stuff going on in their "real" lives that's kinda more important. I'm still waiting on one of my long time chat buddies to come back from a week long vacation he took two years ago

There is not much you can do about it. But come on! It is only MSN or TSR, don't have a fit over it. Get out and chat to people properly, not on a computer.

There is this one girl who would always talk to me on MSN. The conversation would be:
Her: Hya
Me: Hya
Her: U kk
Me: yep, u?
Her: gr8. wot ya up 2
me: not much (though I was clearly on the computer).
The conversations were so boring and repetitive so I blocked her. End of.

So go for a balance, talk about potential sticking points before either of you resorts to blocking! Who knows, they might even be the bratty one out of you two.
