I am considering many courses for university, and one of them is psychology. Could anyone give me some insight into what it involves/is like?

Here are some things to consider.

Psychology is a very diverse subject. You could be studying child development, neuroscience, mental illness, learning , language acquisition etc. You also have to a lot of stats and research. The BPS basically tell you which modules you do, but you can specialise in third year.

It gives you a great skill set also; group work, computer skills, critical analysis and many more.

Search "psychology lecture" on youtube and this forum has loads of recommended books somewhere. Definately look at some lectures though, it will give a good idea of what university is like to (the "yale courses" series is good).
