I have just spent hours catching up on a thread titled graduate entry medicine 2014 and realized that southampton not responding to me by now just means rejection. I applied for the graduate medicine course did not receive an interview invitation but no rejection....

They obviously haven't made a decision on your application yet. No news is good news in my opinion.
For the competitive courses, universities mostly go through applications in batches anyway. They;ll have TONS of applications to go through for something competitive like medicine.
