Eligibility for student finance
Sorry for the long winded post but.....
My son completed a year at a uni but left there at the end of the year as the course was not really what he thought it was going to be (1 full year completed).
He then enrolled at a different uni (for year 1 - different course) but never attended a single lecture due to depression and officially left in November 2013. The uni notified Student Finance England and he received a letter from SFE saying that the fees (£2250) had been paid to this uni.
Does this mean that he still has £6750 left (remaining from £9000) + 2 full years student finance available to him?
He is hoping to start a HNC at our local college which costs £5250. Would he be able to use the remaining £6750 from the above year and then still have 2 full years student finance remaining?
