Does it matter how many references you have in your coursework?

I've just finished by Family Law coursework which is 2,000 words. Its on 2 problem scenarios. I only have 15 references….does it matter? I have done a lot of research but I haven't copied word for word some of the info i have found nor have I power phased it…Ive just read the documents/journals.

For some reason…to me only having 15 references doesn't look good but it is only a problem scenario…in the essay coursework's I had a lot of references.

Problem scenarios should generally have quite a few shouldn't they?

My 2500 word contract problem question has 31 references...

I think you, obviously, need quite a few references, but I also think it's more about quality rather than quantity... if that makes sense?
