I have to do a talk this Sunday about an interesting economics topics to A2 students, something A2 Macro-economics related preferably.. suggestions?

I find monetary policy especially interesting e.g. QE, forward guidance, open-market operations, IS/LM model (obviously simplified), liquidity trap, inflation targeting. Just food for thought.

I agree with Mike! Perhaps something to do with the effectiveness of government policy and whether trade or domestic growth will fuel our next boom

Try reading the economist (the magazine) for some inspiration? Europe's current/ future issues are a hot topic right now.
