Hi everyone, I just want to study mechanical engineering but I have doubt bout it!

I really love to design cars' all parts( the engine, gearbox, chasis and more important the car exterior) does anyone know mechanical engineering will help me to learn these or should I choose another subject?

Mechanical engineering is about designing functional things more than cosmetic. You could absolutely end up designing the components for the engine/gearbox or be on the chassis development team. You could also engineer the exterior of the car. However, the actual drawings for the bodywork will be done by the design team and you will be helping to make it a reality.

Mechanical engineering - Good for designing the components and systems within a vehicle (or other platform)
Mechanical design/product design/automotive design - Good for getting involved with creating the styles and shapes for a particular product.
