if you eat unhealthily? never
if you have a near perfect diet, a week can make some difference, although think in 2 week blocks and you'll notice changes more clearly.

you mean you have to eat healthily??? oh crap....

lol thanks, so 4 days and not much change is normal...?

of course you have to eat healthily, don't be an idiot, you aren't gonna loose weight if you continue eating 20 cheeseburgers a day.

I'm afraid if you've thought that you would see change in four days you're not looking at this realistically- think about how many months and years of neglect it took for your body to wind up the way it is; you're in for the long haul, but don't lose heart- weighing yourself weekly or every fortnight is your best bet. Good luck
Make sure you get rest days in too!

thanks! and will do, i had in mind that maybe a month minimum until i'd see any changes, but i just thought i'd double check coz i know nothing basically...lol

from the pyshical point of you you should notice the difference quite quickly within a week of running, you will recover quicker for instance, as for the wieght loss it depends on your diet

If you don't take off at least 1 rest day per week, you will see results even slower as your body actually recovers and your muscles develop when you are not exercising so rest is crucial to see results.

Also doing just cardio you may not see much in terms of inch loss as you will also be losing muscle along with fat. Include resistance training (ideally with weights) 2-3 times per week to prevent muscle loss, which slows down your metabolism thus making it harder to lose fat.
