Bigger people have more cells which each require a blood supply

Someone who's 5'11" and 5'11" worth of blood vessels; someone who's 6'5" has 6'5" worth of blood vessels - larger people have larger blood vessels, so they need more blood to fill them!
In the simplest terms, it's (broadly) the same reason they have more skin.
