Chest Pain

I have been having this chest pain for a while now, and really I dont understand why. I am a very active person do workouts and exercises almost everyday in the week but sometime when Im resting I have a sudden chest pain (near the heart) and it would go away after a while but it kinda worry me. As for my diet well basically I eat anything even fast-food (Im hardgainer so I ate meal between 2-3 hours a day). So can anyone tell me what is the problem is it my diet? Or can it be that I overtained? Or others please specify. Thanks for your time.

Is it a sharp pain that hurts more when you breathe? So you can only take really shallow breaths and if you breathe in deeply it hurts a LOT but sort of clicks and feel better?

It is a sharp pain but it got nothing to do with breathing really it is just like my blood flow sort of temporarily stopped or something...

but you can help me!

I get that and I don't know what it is. My mum thinks its indigestion but I don't get it after eating so i'm not sure. You just described it perfectly though.

I used to get these. I couldn't move for about 5 minutes. They stopped after a few months though. No one knew what it was. Mysterious.

i feel so close and yet so far from knowing the reason behind the chest pains.. where did you go???????

Reply 15

You could be over training, and have strained your intercostal muscles.

Might be worth a chat with your GP though, to rule out other non-cardiac causes...

i get them sometimes. my doctor said it was due to my anaemia. who knows.

I had chest pain and my ribs now stick out on one side, the doctor said i have costochondritis, and it will go away on its own.

My advice - go and get it checked out
