My flatmates always ask to have a Pizza night, and it costs like £20 or so to order from Dominos Pizza! I don't feel right asking them why not just get one from Tescos and put it on the oven...its only £2-3 that way!

Just wanted to know why people actually order pizza rather than just buying it!

Is it just the ease of delivery? Or taste? Or something else?

I'm prob awkward in this!

Tesco pizza is horrible to be fair, but still, I agree it is possible to get semi decent pizza for less than the price of ordering it.

A pizza from a supermarket will never taste the same as a pizza from a takeaway.

Even better, get one of those 60p ones, grate some extra cheese on there, and put your own toppng on there. You could put jalapenos on there. Nobody'll will know.

Why do people pay £200k for a car when a £1000 car does a similar job?

The sauce and base is usually of better a standard, and cheese quality makes a huge difference too i heard.

1. It's more like 10£ as always an offer on
2. Open at more hours
3. Delivered hot to you
4. More topping options
5. More of an occasion

Because every now and again it's just too much effort to make pizza.

You've never eaten Asda pizza then. Freshly made 14' pizza loaded with a ton of toppings for under £4. Best pizza of my entire life.

We used to have it as a treat in my flat when there was a load of us wanting to order so we could use discount vouchers so it didn't end up that expensive in the end? I think their medium is pretty big as well so I could always leave some of it for lunch the next day.

6. Less prep, what if there's no prepared pizza ? Unless you have a tesco nearby so be with you quicker

It is expensive for what it is but then they are far superior to supermarket ones. The cheese they use is nicer.

I agree with everyone else, a takeaway pizza is so much better than a supermarket pizza…I’m not sure why but they just are. That being said, Chicago town do some brilliant pizzas and they are very very very close to beating takeaway.
