For one of my textual and analysis performances, I have been given the theme of Religion. The task; to pick a play that involves an aspect of religion and perform a scene or monologue within it.
I don't want to edge towards the obvious plays that ooze religion e.g the crucible.
Any ideas? Monologues are welcome as well.

"The Good Person of Szechuan" by Bertolt Brecht? There are some good scenes with the Gods, and they are pretty central to the play? 😄
