I had thought that A2 results were presented in the same way as GCSE results? Is the overall grade not given? I've been told that this is not the case, as you actually need to arrive on the day with your AS/January A2 module results in hand in order to add up the marks with the new results to find your overall grade.
Have I been told wrong? Would the exam boards be so piggin' cruel? I'm nervous as it is, to know that I won't have to go through the torment of having to work out my overall grades with shaking hands over the sweaty pad of a calculator would reassure me greatly.
It looks like the unit marks, at the top of the sheet, are those that were achieved in the June 2003 session while the other section refers to the overall progress of the A Level as a whole; in this case completed, fully.
I'd guess from the example given above that you get the marks from the exams you took this session, ie June 2006, at the top and than an overall grade and total UMS mark with all 6 module UMS marks underneath. I really hope so anyway, it was bad enough having to add up module marks at AS, but this year the grades actually matter!
Well in bangladesh edexcel puts a file in the british council website and we download it. It shows the module marks and the grade for every bangladeshi candidate. We get the results slip later.
We dont get those kind of exam results slips. Our college gives us a crappy piece of paper not even in an envelope, and it only details grades and marks for the exams you sat at that partcular time (in the case of August 17th it will show the exam grades for exams sat in june)
