is that going to make a noticeable difference to the gas bill? :frown:

All i know is that gas is cheaper than electricity and my dad left the comp on all night yesterday so at least its not as bad as that but still, how much do you think i wasted?

Er... all I know is that when there's a power cut and the heating goes off, my mum turns the hob on...

It'll just look like you've been cooking a lot.. say you made a stew and had to leave it on the hob for 4 hours!

errr, probably cause the gas was burning?

I'd say it'll make minimal difference to your bill, don't worry.
nothing to worry about if it was burning.

if it hadn't been burning and just leaking and then after 4 hours you tried to light it then it would have been interesting
Did that with my cooker for about an hour.

Yeah not for me though :p:
Well don't know whether you've heard but recently gas prices has shot up dramatically.

I reckon it might make a difference to your bill tbh.
I doubt it'll make that much difference to be honest; if you think you won't be using the central heating or anything like that as its so hot, it'll be fine. Just think how many people spend all day cooking stews and things like that; i'm sure they wouldn't if it badly affected their bills.

Um ... okay. Actually, the amount of electricity used by a computer is miniscule. We almost never turn our computer off. And your heating system (unless it's electric) uses a whole lot more gas than a tiny little gas hob.
