It's not recommended to run more than 3 together, but three should be fine. You might have heavier bleeding after that long though, and could get spotting (I do if I run my packs together sometimes).

Hmm ok, thank you. I had spotting towards the end of the 2nd pack which is why I'm not so sure about it! I suppose it probably takes a while for the body to get used to it though.

I can run 2 together fine, and have been doing that since I started on the pill. Usually I spot towards the end of the 3rd pack if I run 3 together though.
If you're already spotting at the end of the 2nd pack, you might not be able to successfully run a 3rd together, but there's no harm in trying.

Ive had cystitis loads, and so been on antibiotics, the doctor said it was fine to run as many packs together as needed while on antibiotics, so that should be fine.

Sianey...why did you need to run packs together while on anibiotics...they wouldnt provide contraception while on the antibiotics anyway, surely.

I run 4 packs together, as advised by my GP, because I get really bad period pain and heavy periods despite trying lots of different brands of the pill. That means I have 3 periods a year.

I was told by the doctor to run no more than three packs together but every GP has a different opinion on how many. I can run no more than three as the build up of headache and period pains is really bad
