Hello, I am constantly with struggeling A2 philosophy especially the religious experience, attributes of God and religious language topics.
I honestly don't know what I am doing wrong, I seem to be getting D's and E's everytime i do a timed essay. How can change this before the June exam and boost my grades up to an A or B?

How do you all structure your essays?

Its hard for me to remember all of the content part although A01 is worth more marks.

Have you not asked your teacher to tell you what you do wrong, and how to improve?

Hi, I'm also doing A2 Philosophy this year. Just wondering if you had tried the Peter Baron books about how to write the essays? He also has some good revision guides too which you can find on Amazon. I wouldn't say they're necessary but maybe they might help you pick up a few tips I definitely think structuring the essays is the hardest part especially as A02 needs to be included as well. My teacher normally tells us to condense our revision notes onto one single page, this way we only have key scholars/quotes and key words we need to remember. Maybe this might help you with your A01 as remembering the key words etc. will help you with your plan at the start. As for the A02 again we have been told to include lots of critical comment, so just backing up each strength and weakness and saying how it might be counter argued. Most importantly, always relate back to the question at the end of each paragraph and try to refer to it as you go along Hope that helps you a bit, best of luck for June

Heres the link for that book I mentioned: http://www.amazon.co.uk/How-Write-Et.../dp/1909618128
