I have been accepted to do Fashion at Leeds College of Art in September 2014 and want to know the best accommodation for socialising, people etc? Want to be in a fun place :-)

Ive been looking at the sky plaza but i can't seem to find any other leeds college of arts students applying there?
where have you been looking at ?

I will be going to leeds college of art in september too :smile:

I went to look at liberty park and didn't like it really , the bathroom was tiny and thats what put me off as I'm claustrophobic hah. I am quite interested in carlton hill myself, except you have to share the bathroom with other people but it is a lot bigger, and you could get a bath also. I have looked at lots of others too but feel that these ones seemed to be where most of the students at the uni go.

I was thinking of applying for liberty park. Apparently it's quite social and most college of art students go there!

I have an offer for illustration :smile:

I prefer the plaza and how close it is, but I'm insure about going there if there's not many people from the same uni :/

That's how I feel! Apparently most college of art students go to liberty park so I feel like if I didn't go there I'd be out of it!! It's probably going to be the most social place and I want to settle in and make friends

Same, it looks really nice but it does't seem to be anyone else from the college staying there.

I think I'll probably go for liberty...when you look at the size of the rooms, liberty's are much bigger and I'd rather be with more people from the college.

I think I'll be booking liberty park tbh as I feel like that has the most people! What are you studying?

Hi, I'm doing the foundation diploma and I'm also staying at Liberty Park.
I just got a letter telling me I won't get a room number until after Mixing Day, did anyone get any information about that day from the College?

Hey, I was looking at Sky Plaza as well as Central Village and had the same problem of wondering if any other Leeds College of Art people would be there....Liberty Park is too far away for my taste...

I dont know though, I think that we'd still be able to socialise with others in college but i see your dilemma with wanting people from the same uni in your accommodation ^_^
