weird...

I've been speaking to a guy on MSN for quite a long time now, and it turned out that yesterday he was going to be vaguely near where I live, so I took the opportunity to go and see him in person. We spent the afternoon together and it was really nice, and now I'm quite attracted to him. (This is a bad thing because we're just friends and he lives on the other side of the country.) He's quite attracted to me too, and now I don't know how to play it. What are your views on this?
Wow, that is weird!

If you live on opposite sides of the country, it's clearly not going to work.

Just keep going the way you are

Nothing will come from it if you do decide to start something with him

I know, it's a real shame though, because I've been kind of hung up on someone else for a long time now, and it's very rare for me to actually feel a spark with anyone. I go on dates with guys, but I feel like I'm just going through the motions and doing it for the sake of it. When I kiss guys, I'm sort of like, "Oh, alright then, I suppose so..."

We didn't kiss, but I think we both wanted to.
if you like this guy, it will work! no matter were you are it WILL work, lol
thats how its with me n my bf, apart from we didnt meet on msn or anything lol n we have been together for almost 7 months! trust me if you really like this guy it will

I don't even know what I want, I just know it's unusual. Don't know what to think. But he is coming to the city where I go to university in the autumn, so I know I will meet him again.
maybe you could get to know him more in person

Hopefully. He's catching a plane to and from the airport near where I'll be living, so I said he could come and see my new house...

very good idea... you dont need to make a decision straight away, get to know him better, meet up with him a few more times, and if you think you could have a future together, then go for it! i also think that if you realy like a guy, and he likes you, then a long distance relationship can work. However, it does take a LOT of work, and there has to be a huge amount of trust and loyalty! but if its meant to be, it will be! Best wishes with him

I have had a long distance relationship before, but it didn't start off being long distance, so by the time it got that way we already knew each other inside out. And he was only 2 hours away, whereas this guy is at least 5 hours away.
Don't go out with him, it won't work and it'll hurt so bad if you even try.

Stay out of it while you can or prepare for a whole year of pain.
