FLIRTING: I don't get it..?

Two waiters at work are flirting with me..or at least i think they are.. Tonight for example one of them kept attacking me with a pen. I licked my thumb so i could rub the pen mark off and he said "mmm, can i do that" plus various other things like touching me around my waist to 'move' me out of the way, and saying "you should smile you look beautiful when you smile". Then more playful things like splashing water at me, cracking jokes, being cheeky/sarcastic..One of them asked me questions like do i have a boyfriend and what music i like and asked me to join the other waiters out drinking. I said no because well im not into their sort of music. Also im 18 and they are like 26 or more years old.

The puzzling bit is they both have girlfriends! Do you think it is becuase they are both foreign (one italian and one albanian) so it is their nature?

Just because they have girlfriends doesnt mean that they wont flirt (it could mean nothing some people just flirt for the sake of it) or that they wouldnt take their flirting further (who knows), and the age gap between 18 and 26 is not THAT huge... im 19 and my last boyf was 28.

If you dont feel uncomfortable treat it as a bit of fun, but if they start making you feel uncomfortable im sure that you could tell them and they wouldnt continue

one of the waiters doesnt make me uncomfortable..maybe because he makes me laugh..the other one is a little annoying though. I ll just act cold to him so he stops ..

when i say is it in their nature i mean did they grow up in a place where people are more open and confident ..i.e flirt with women all the time...
