Hello, I am new to this site and I am slightly confused to what some words mean, could someone please explain what 'sticky' means?

Also, is there a glossary of terms for this site at all?

Thank you

A sticky is a thread that will remain at the top of the forum list even if not active or not posted in recently. It has been 'stuck' to the top of the forum.

There is a kind of glossary in this article.
