Is anyone here from the Slough area? Which areas are to be avoided most? What's the Diamond Road mosque area like?

I lived in Taplow for a while and I hope that's as close as I ever get to Slough.

I know Taplow though and it's fine. A bit dreary but not particularly dangerous and it's almost quite scenic.

I was talking more about central Slough.

Taplow is a really nice little place.

I meant Slough is a nasty place. Just the thought of the Britwell turns my stomach.

Slough and its surrounding area's aren't in any way dangerous! Its just that its a piss hole. Wexham being the worst.

The most futuristic building in Slough is the Tesco's superstore lol. Oh - I really don't live there.

I actually like the look of the Tesco's and the shopping centre around. Plus the O2 building next to it looks good.

I've heard that the Britwell Estate and Chalvey are pretty dangerous when it comes to crime. Then again I've lived in London which are supposedly dangerous (used to regularly hear about shootouts, even a murder from time to time but usually it was possible to stay away from trouble).
