Sorry Sorry i know, there are so many forums about this, i know i did read them all, but please i need a serious suggestion, no bias-m, what hall do you suggest i would fit in best;

- im going to be studying pharmacy
- not so keen on having drunk people waking em up at 4 (its too annoying). i want to socialise and have fun, but not to be with really rowdy people, so that i can study
-budget- unlimited, i wanna be somewhere nice and comfortable
-Convenient location
- Mainly science and health students, but then again i dont particularly mind this

i thought of taly court, but i heard its quite unsocial... then thought of taly south, but maybe a bit too loud from what i heard? .... really not so sure

hey I'm in exactly the same position as you, applying to do pharmacy at cardiff! I have applied for talybont court because its closest to the main buildings (including pharmacy), its the newest block on the talybont complex. If its quiet in talybont court then I'm just going to crash the talybont south parties! Don't get me wrong I am a sociable person, but I would prefer to be able to escape the party when I want to!

its really tough, my friend was seriously advising me to go to Senghennhdd, she said its been renovated, and its just a really good located and its relatively cheap, and you its like talybont, just a slightly better location...hmmm its really really tough, cause like, i wouldnt mind going to visit talybont south to party, but yeah... wouldnt want to be in the party central.. not so much of a party party animal hahahahaha

Hi Guys,

Just to give you another option, Summit House is a private hall located right in the city centre and offers studios and 2 bed apartments. This is great if you like your own space. We also have an on-site gym and cinema which is perfect to socialise in and meet new people. We don't tend to have the kind of students who are partying until 4am every night so may be a good option for you. Just wanted to let you know about it anyway

I am sure you will find somewhere perfect and feel free to get in touch if you think we might be able to help.

Hey, I'm studying pharmacy at cardiff uni at the moment, taly south is rowdy at 4am!
I don't know if you'll be interested but if you find say a few people you want to live with in cardiff, we're moving to a different place so we have a house if you're interested

It's a very spacious 6 bedroom house,Russell Street Cathays. It takes just under 15 minutes (slow walking) to get to the redwood building (pharmacy).
Rent per month is £280 excluding bills from September 2014 to June 2015.
Can also live there from July 2014 if you wish!

I've got some pictures if you are interested just message me for more details

Good luck house hunting!
