Limitations of using a light meter (for coursework)

I'm writing the evaluation for my biology A2 coursework and am trying to think about limitations of equipment. I did the rest of my cwk at a field centre but stupid me forgot to pick up a copy of the 'limitations of equipment' sheet...

Can anyone think of any limitations of a light meter?

only a snapshot can change if there is a cloud etc.
if u take don't take all measurements at the same time a cloud may have covered the sun etc.
unless you're doing a large number of averages

arbitary units (if its in lux)
