My favourite TV show was, without a doubt, The Basil Brush Show.

We never had Sky or Virgin or anything in my house, so al the cool cartoons would come on really early in the morning, I'm talking 6am. This was the old CBBC, with the green blobby thing. The awesomest shows were on there: Basil Brush, there was a show where these kids thought their baby brother was an alien, that was classic.

I was there the day CBBC changed into this new attitude, bull**** thing. I was absolutely horrified. All the old, good shows went, and they put in this American teen type crap.

TV shows - Most of the stuff on Cartoon Network back in it's glory days, Recess, Kenan and Kel.

Also, for some reason I was really into gameshows. The kind you now find on the Challenge channel, where everyone has perms and the prizes are tape cassette players and "portable" TVs the size of an oven.

Film - Toy Story, Bugs Life, Star Wars (Dad's influence)

Music - I think I sort of adopted my Mum's music tastes at the time, which was stuff like Madness, Oasis, Blur, The Jam. Once I hit my teen years it was Sum 41, Blink 182, Green Day, Weezer...

Video Games - Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2, Final Fantasy VII, Tekken. Before those, Sonic and Mario - until I arrived home from school one day to find that my Dad had sold both the Sega and Nintendo so that he could buy a PS1.

Toys - Spiderman, Pokemon cards, POGs, Tamagotchi, Beyblade.

:coma: Those days when you were ill so you missed school. Spent the day watching the tele; nothing like Bruce Forsyth's Price is Right or some old school Family Fortunes.

Still one of the best songs ever to be in a movie. It's easily in my top 5.

Those were two of my favourites. They were amazing. And i'll throw Wheel of Fortune in there as well.

The pointless knowledge that I absorbed from those shows growing up probably accounts for 90% of the stuff knocking around in my head today
