Dissertation survey on open online courses (please help)

Hi,

I'm currently doing my final project/dissertation on massive open online courses (moocs) for staff training. I am running this small survey to gather some data. Any participation would be much appreciated. It only takes 2 minutes to complete.

Very interesting research. I’ve become very interested in MOOCS concept lately. What puts me off is the lack of any certification and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

I would like to see an educational model where people can study whatever they want independently and just pay the administrative cost of having their knowledge assessed and certified by a university. The University of London International Programme works this way to an extent, but I feel the model could be pared back even further.

I know of at least one university in the UK which has begun offering credit for MOOCS, but it’s very unclear how it actually works in practice, and under the current system they can still only account for 60% of a degree, so people still have to find £9k out of their after-tax income to pay for it.

Do you mind having a go at my survey as well?
